We all know that getting outdoors is good for our wellbeing, be it a Sunday stroll, mountain hike or brisk dip in the sea. A stint in “The Great Outdoors” helps us to access our inner child and keeps our ego in check. It’s even been proven to lower blood pressure, boost the immune system and improve memory and mental wellbeing. But what happens when our access to the outside is limited?

For some, experiencing the natural world seems like an impossible task, whether that’s due to illness, accessibility or, in times like these, when distance and isolation are enforced. It is more important than ever that we seek out new and creative ways to connect with the natural world
